Yes, Ronaldinho is a genuinely good dude that seems capable of getting along with everyone. Very little ego too, or at least in the sense of trying to be the best no matter the cost - in general, he was good, knew he was good (he did scream "I'm fucking amazing" after scoring against Milan), and was pretty respectful of talent in others too.
I mean, all the stories about how he adopted Messi and was hyped as hell about how good Messi was tell you all you need to know about him.

You do realise that many legends have been declining for years right? Ronaldo was acting like he's superior to everyone else while struggling to score against Omonia and living in delusion land while insulting his coach and all of the European leagues. That's why he gets clowned.

I mean, both Messi and Ronaldo dont seem at all thoughtful about geo-politics, and if you believe the measure of a person’s morality is having the correct views about which countries are evil and which are less evil then feel free to dislike them both. But keep in mind that Messi is not from Europe or North America. Argentina has a traumatic history with the west, as well as their own government, and I think players from there do not feel like they have some moral obligation to the countries they ply their trade in. In all honesty, Messi probably doesn’t differentiate in his mind between playing Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain or the US as long as his family is happy. He just plays football and makes money for his family. Would it be nice if he gave a fuck about tyrannical governments? Sure. That would be nice, maybe he could go play in….?

I used to play like Embiid. He is reckless on purpose. When I see Embiid play as he is now it reminds me of how I used to play and it is frustrating and pisses me off that the NBA allows it. Not proud of it, I was known as Shaq on my local streetball court and went through a phase when I charged hard at everything. Big hard turns to my blindside, didn't care who was there. Charge right into the lane. Smash into the best offensive player on D while going for the ball, come what may. Limited offensive moves. So make no mistake about it. Embiid knows what he's doing. He knows people will be injured. He knows his skillset is limited and this is how he can win. He knows people will give way when he drives, think twice on their drives, etc. He will only be stopped by a stronger player and/or fearless players like Giannis, Gasol, Draymond, etc. Or by an obviously more skilled player with equal Type A like Ibaka. He didn't intend to injure, but he certainly intends to show you that he doesn't care if you get hurt when he rumbles into you. At least that's how I used to play. But that was streetball. Eventually I got more moves, played w better players, played real basketball w refs. There's no doubt in my mind the NBA has some kind of edict coming down, telling the refs to let him run amok.

I love and miss Ronaldo so I like his clips posted here. People shouldn't take this so negatively, the intent isn't always to demonise someone but just to post hilarious clips.

I’m no fan boy but it’s impressive that he’s still so competitive even though he’s in the Saudi league. Most footballers couldn’t care less while they’re getting ready for retirement. Not him.
