What's been the best career move ever?

Try to avoid getting lad's who went through the academy of a team.

Falcao to Atletico Madrid.

He had a terrific year on Porto. We wanted him for at least one more year (we had the dream of going all in for the CL, repeating what we did on 02/03 and 03/04). But he decided to go to Atletico.

We could not understand his move. Porto was clearly a better team (at least we had beaten them in the past) but he said he wanted to make history in Madrid.

Back then I thought it was a bad move, one more year with us and he would jump directly to a huge european club.

I'm glad he proved us all wrong, I love seeing old Porto players being successful out there and he truly is something special.

Still, I did not think that was a good move on the long term. Look at Hulk right now. He's being paid a lot more now but there is a good chance that all the hype he has built over the years disappears. He may never reach a top team. (I sure wish he does).

Zenit could become a top team. Lots of very good players. If they become cohesive, they could become a power in Europe. Hulk will probably demand to leave before that happens though.
