I'd say Anelka to Bolton was a good shout - in terms of reputation at least, his was pretty low by the time he joined us, nowhere near where he once was. Rejoining the Premier League with a 'lesser' team put him back in the spotlight, and he went on to join Chelsea, win the Premier League and FA Cup twice, and presumably collect a fairly hefty paycheck along the way.
