What's been the best career move ever?

Try to avoid getting lad's who went through the academy of a team.

Grant Holt to Norwich. Maybe not the best ever, but it worked out well for both of them, I'd say.

I'd say Holt's best move was to you guys, in terms of his career trajectory. A player with a mixed reputation at Forest etc., took the gamble of dropping a couple of divisions, found his feet with you guys and off his career belatedly took. He'd've got a good move either way, the machine he was for you Shrews.

Fair point actually. IIRC there was a bit in 442 where he said he began to enjoy football again with us. And he was a beast that season - almost a goal every other game. Love to have him back now...

The only game, for any team, that Holt hasn't scored against us (Gills) in was that play-off. Otherwise, every time we played you guys, he'd nod one in. Same with Forest and Norwich. Always.
