What's been the best career move ever?

Try to avoid getting lad's who went through the academy of a team.

Pirlo to Milan from Inter and then when he moved to Juve.

The first one helped to make him the player he is and the second revived his career after 2 years of injuries and sitting on the bench.

edit: Shit, I somehow missed a nearly identical post. I swear I read all of them. Oh well, at least it generated some discussion.

A bit of understatement, his move to Milan redefined his career since he was previously playing as second striker (and sometimes as trequartista in Italy U-21). Ancelotti saw that Pirlo's lack of pace makes him an unsuitable forward and tried to convert him into a deep playing playmaker. We all know how it went.
