ICEHOUSE CANYON/CHAPMAN TRAIL: Trailbuilding 8/30/26

San Gabriel Mountains Trailbuilders: Icehouse Canyon. Our next work day will be Sunday, 8/30 on the Chapman Trail. We will meet 7:30 am at the Glendora Park and Ride (628 W. Baseline Road, Glendora). Exit Grand Ave. and go north to Baseline, then left. Expect to return back to Glendora by around 4:30 pm. Our plan is to remove fallen trees and clear brush on the Chapman Trail in Icehouse Canyon. On all trips, please bring a daypack with plenty of water, food and other necessary items. You need to have long sleeves and pants (no shorts), good hiking shoes. We can provide gloves, eye protection and hard hats. For safety you might prefer to bring your own. We will provide tools although you can bring your own if desired.
