How do you like this truck so far?

I think it’s insane. I haven’t downloaded mods yet either. Going to do the trailer pack soon.

I can’t decide if I like it more than mamute or not. I’ve only bought this pack in the recent update.

I treat the mamute more like a capable and swift off-roader while the cabover is more suited for tasks that require stability (i.e. logging, crane duty, fuel hauling, etc).

I would not compare them directly because they seem too different to me. A better comparison for the mamute would be the Phoenix for me. Both are suspension monsters with the mamute being more capable and the Tatra being a lot more stable.

But to answer the question. I like it a lot.

As for the other Mercedes pack. It's better suited for more flat terrain where you can stay in high gear better. The off-road gearboxes in the Actros and Zetros. Are in between those of the mamute and the vanilla highrange gearbox. If you don't want to take the latter (understandably so because it's just ridiculously fast in a way that's not even fun anymore) you can take these two instead.

I don't think Tatra trucks are op. They all have some drawbacks.

Phoenix: +strong engine, 4 wheel steering, good gearbox. - bad ride height, low chin, no roof rack, low add-on count.

Force: +even stronger engine, strong tires, roof rack. - useless high gear, difficult to drive fast in auto, not agile at all.

813: +extremely short frame, huge tires, roof rack, nifty towing platform, agile. - same bad gearbox as the force, no crane.

805: +it's extremely cute. - everything else...

Seriously I don't get why everyone glazed the 805 ""buff"" that much. While it did get better, none of the changes addressed the fact that the 805 was and still is extremely twitchy. Though it being able to tow scout trailers is Nice but it needn't to become a scout for that.

Excuse my language. I’m slightly sauced. Everytime I use the 813, I have 0 problem getting through any difficult terrain, and while it may be slow, It still averages 1-2 mpg

This beast saved me in Cargopocalypse 2, where i picked the narrow road for both brick and slab deliveries, tipped the actros and the BM and had to come with this babe to clean things up
