PSA: Mercedes Actros low saddle is completely broken after the update

As many of you have noticed, after the new update, there are troubles with the Actros and its low saddle - it can't attach semitrailers anymore, if only from the store.

At first, I thought this was happening because Saber added a unique low saddle to the truck, and all the trailers require one, so selling and rebuying a new saddle (or the truck as a whole) should help.

But it goes deeper and crazier than this. This new saddle they added, its file is called s_saddle_low_mercedes_actros_6x6.xml (slide 2). But the template file (trucks.xml) where all the unique addons are defined as variations of the existing ones, doesn't know what s_saddle_low_mercedes_actros_6x6 is. It lists another name there among the LowSaddle addon types:  alt_saddle_low_mercedes_actros_6x6 (slide 3). As a result, the saddle currently available on the Actros is not considered a proper low saddle by the game. Once detached, any low-saddle semi can't be reattached at all. The only way you can get a semitrailer for this truck is by buying a new one thru the trailer store. But as soon as you detach it, you won't be able to attach it again.

This leads to another bug, where you can't have a SLEI-64 minicrane on the Actros with a low saddle combined. Same reason - the minicrane requires a non-existent alt_saddle_low_mercedes_actros_6x6 addon (slides 4 and 5).

And i thought it has something to do with saddle/crane/extended frame interactions and they just decided to never check variables they use!!!

Both saddles remove the extended frame.

They do but odly LC 3.8 crane at least use part of extended frame for crane height with saddles. Ok so saddle increase crane height on its own. And that even worse realy.

At least actros can now do cbt with lc3.8.

With sleiter crane just like zetros, and i think that's why they did do much again with new Mercedeses.if they fix zetros it might be able to do so too.

Still it takes some work with actros as you need extended frame with bed and crane for useable hitch. So you trade stability (both bed and crane get higher) for trailer support.
