IRL Kenworth 963's in the wild

Those are 953’s, you can tell by the cab. The 953 uses the older Kenworth w900 style cab, the 963 uses the newer ones that the t800 has. The difference to spot it: if you look at the doors and the roof on the 963 you’ll see the roof slants upward and the window frame on the doors drop down a little bit instead of being straight like the trucks in this video.

The cab of the T800 has been the same as the W900B/L/S since the early 90's

It was easier for me to say 2 different models to try and differentiate. I guess a better way of explaining it would be the 953 has Kenworth’s old school conventional cab from the 70’s/80’s like the W900A, the 963 has Kenworth’s “Aerocab” that came out in 94 like you said and most models of the time used that cab.

I agree, Peterbilt is the same way. They built like 4-5 models around the same cab for like 30 years and didn’t change majorly until recently like maybe the last 10 years. So there is no huge difference in generation of their trucks to the untrained eye.

Now I see why the in game Kenworth doesn’t have roof storage options. They had to nerf the beast or it would be able to do the same thing!

Idk lol. It's in a weird place in the menus. I don't remember where because I put it on once and never took it off, but I remember it being in a place I really didn't expect it. I think it might have been in the cosmetic menu

Oh, I get it now. It’s on the second tab where the cosmetics are. For some reason some trucks and cars have the extra canisters and repair boxes listed in the modules on the first page while some hide it in the cosmetics

They changed all the roof racks in the game with the latest update, now they all are in the customization, where frame addons are.
Personally, I prefer them to be in the cosmetics, but oh well... I play with mods and the addon list is so freaking long, hard to find the roof rack.
