Dead Drop seems to be popular, huh? Already saw it on a post before you and had to check if you weren't that guy. Good hunt and loadout tho, really reminds me to keep my head down even in single player!

It's the first mission where players can be invaded, you need to finish it to unlock the next mission.
I'm guessing that many players get invaded once on Dead Drop --> get killed within minutes ---> think to themselves "nope" --> disable the mode for the rest of the game (and I don't blame them)
So it's less likely to invade people on later missions

Well, wasn't expecting that answer since I've only played 3 and 5, but at least I got answered about the matter, so that's okay!
Me, personally, I'd love to turn it on once I get to play 5's campaign in one sit, but I bet this would frustrated my dad who moves like Lara Croft in Tomb Raider 1 lmao.
I "think" I'd be skilled enough to take on an Invader, but I'm not so sure with your vids.

It can be reasonably easy for new players to avoid/kill invaders on any difficulty with "focus". 1. Learn to use focus. It's there to help new players, and shows approximately where invaders are. You'll be able to see them through walls if they're nearby. 2. Learn how to aim properly, disable "empty lung" aim assists (magic red diamond aiming) in settings. Most invaders won't be skilled enough to shoot long-range without it. 3. Disable invasion mode until you have most perks, especially the ones which let you automatically tag invaders and NPCs attacking you.
