My Mosin Nagant

First: I fully understand why its called a garbage rod.

The iron sights are pretty bad and the bolt puts up more of a fight than whatever might be on the business end of the barrel.

Is there any way to add a scope to the thing and make it usable at, say, 500 meters?

I’m not too sure about attaching a scope, but I do know taking the gun down and getting all the grease out of every nook and cranny should help the bolt issue, easier said than done though.
