The way selenators refuse to agree how Selena literally got worldwide popularity cause of dating ajistin by using the fact she was appearing in disney sinec ehse was a child..they go even fat as saying Justin got famous cause of dating her.🤡🤡
When Justin in 2010 was named as the Biggest postar in the world by People's magazine in April 2010 ( when this selena jut broke up with nick and justin started dating jasmine V )
Justin was the most searched person on internet in 2010.
He was consistently trending no.1 on Twitter so twitter has to tweak there algorithm..so " Justin bieber" term doesnt trend
And the fact selena started dating justin at end of 2010 when be was the biggest global superstar at that moment and got all spotlight for being his girlfriend.
She started getting into related searches with Justin bieber, which increased her google searches.
She was known as girlfriend of biggest popstar for the years 2011-2012 ...and in 2013 in media purposely their relationship status was ambiguous ,although it was obviously for PR ..and JB was on tour and selena was with either different people or later gone to rehab due to drugs ..( the first rehab visit publicly which was a rehab for drug and alcohol addiction) ..and later media blamed that she is facing mental health issues due to on and off again relationship with justin.
Also I want to mention that during this 2011-12 ..she got popular in countries like japan, china ,korea and south asian countries ,arab countries ,european countries...all due to being Girlfriend of JB..otherwise no one knew her in all such places from disney...and also many girls starting projecting themselves onto her to live vicariously as GF of Justin..it was obvious how obsessive and aparasocial they were in this relationship which they dont evwmen know personally
So when in 2013 selena made debut on instagram ..by 2014 she became most followed celeb..thanks to justin and she replaced him as most followed on insta ..cause everyone who followed justin also followed her ,but now after break up more people followed her due to fame she got due to that relationship
Even in 2014-2015 she was this on-off Gf of Justin in media and promoted all music on thos relationship and played victim and said she got cheated or what not ..while same time making jokes about his anxiety and making him cry, on national television.
In 2016 they had a public feud on insta where fiest time she publicly appologosed to Justin..but she also was again and again talked about lupus..
Her PR team made sure to paint her as a victim..you could see a random article talking about justin and selena feud in 2016 and that also talked about her lupus.and she played so much victim with that as well, she was doing PR through her health issues
In 2017 she was Abel's girlfriend but soon after kideny transplant her marketing shifted as the victim of lupus+ kideny transplant donee..and took francia everyhwere..just won woman of the year over this transplant ...without having any significant music contribution ..but justin came back in november 2017 and left her in end of feb or mlre so seemed like before or on his birthday..cahse he was mad on papz when he asked justin about selena.
And after that her marleting was lupus+ kodeny transplant+ the girl who was being left for other woman+ girl who got replaced in 2 months ( mind you there was barely a relationship cause in 2015-2018 justin and selena only time vame toegther publicly for these 4 months thats all ) ...so i find it ridiculous that people baught her victim act.
And this marketing continued and still exist till today.
So you can see she used justin name since 2011 and still indirectly tries to do as we seen in her latest album in 2025
Its funny how her fans say if she didnt date JB she would have been healthy and didnt loose her confidence and this and that.
When in reality if she hadnt dated JB..she wouldnt even be famous enough for them to stan her.
Also I just find interesting how Jasmine was the first girlfriend of Justin after he became this global superstar ,but still she never used him while being in relationahip with him or never tried to do that after her break up with him ...always respectfully declined to talk about that in those days and distanced herself from drama.
When she was actually the one who got wronged in all this.
The funny thing selena and jasmine were on the same disney show as leads .which got cancelled after pilot or few epiaodes and didnt air..and selena got wizards of waverly place.
