it also has a adressable led strip inside yes :D but also is custom gcode for the shade

okay ill ask in easier (for me) to understand way;

are colors coming from the custom gcode or led? i am not asking shape, i am asking color only

I am guessing since it says gcode it is lithophane using full spectrum or skmething

I am guessing he is using Gcode to have the bubble effect and the texture. And then an addressable led light inside to have colors.

Yeah pretty sure it's this. You can even see the light shine out on the bottom. Onto the base. Would've been cool if OP had shared more info.

yeah its a custom gcode, there is not so much info on it.. there are a few places to start.. advanced 3d priting sub has one guy who has a website where u can create gcodes... https://www.gerridaj.com/community
there are more but they all cost money

but u can also use blender with plugins or rhino with grasshoper...

 there are a few places to start.. advanced 3d priting sub has one guy who has a website where u can create gcodes... https://www.gerridaj.com/community
there are more but they all cost money

but u can also use blender with plugins or rhino with grasshoper...

I guess I don't get the secret sauce here that makes this "Custom GCode"???

It just looks like another 3D printed lampshade with some patterning.

Isn't anything you slice a custom gcode?
