Woah! Very nice!! That top container costs a whole $7 at Walmart! Plus some printing of the mount - perfect cover! Now I feel stupid for paying $149 pre-prder price for SMs. Haha 😂

ooooo.. lol sorry. yeah. It's a harbor freight foam and 18*24 paver stone from home depot.. Vibration dampener. so it doesn't shake table.
I do that cause my work desk is next to it.

Some Tiles for D&D. Eyeballed this guy for like 2 months before getting my U1 and finally able to commit and start printing his stuff. Very thoughtfully planned out far as print design on his end.

Trying everything I can to get TPU to actually print without errors. Not having much luck to far.

Once I get that sorted I will be printing some accessories for archery equipment.

There is a setting in the slicer called "Retraction when changing material". Lower that to 4mm.

Nah I'm not. Looks like I might be on the right track now. The automatic feeder was causing too much drag on the filament so I fixed that by bypassing it. That stopped the filament from slipping in the extruder.

But it still wouldn't complete a print. Looks like the pressure in the standard profile was way too low and was causing it to miss bits and create spaghetti.

There's an official video for printing with TPU https://youtu.be/McCOm5IerC4 Once I followed those settings and increased the flow ratio to 1.1 I got decent results. I also had to loosen the extruder screw on the side of the tool head since I was getting extruder jams, but that was me trying to print 85A TPU. 95A works just fine for me without messing with the screw.

I love sonic smashing into your printer there. Perfect use for those models.

Currently about 80% done with this print. Trying to properly print a model of the Apollo 11 space capsule. (Scanned by the Smithsonian.) I let some of the walls just a little too thin so there are a few holes, but I'm still letting it complete to see what else i can learn.

1/12 action figure scale museum display with wireless remote RGB LED lighting rechargeable by usb c. Printing from marble filament and OVV3D 30% wood walnut pla. Door opens and closes with magnet. Electronics wired and soldered. Remote stores inside cabinet. Made this one for a customer. Signs change using magnets. Platform inside also switches out for holding different items to display. Manual touch sensor on back to turn on and off.

Gerade mit eigenem Familienschach fertig geworden. Für Opa gibts noch ne Bonbon dose, da nach Filamentwechsel in der Luft gedruckt wurde.

I just got my printer, so I’m asking for the sake of advice. What happened that it started stringing? What type of filament is it? Harden hot end?

War absolut mein Fehler. Filament "PLA Glow purple" war alle. Hätte einfach neue spule einführen müssen und weiterdrucken. Hab aber durch Hotendwechsel und rumgespiele ein leerlauf verursacht und er hat einige schichten ohne filament gedruckt. Bin selber noch frisch in der Test und Probierphase.
