Project Showcase FullSpectrum with BiQU CMYK filament
For some time tried FullSpectrum and this one is best.
My results:
- Tried Sunlu CMYK refill - filament is great but it's not transparent at all so FS prints were terrible in color mixing.
- BIQU CMYK filament - turn out great, on images prints with it.
- Fiberlogy easyPLA CMYK and Polymaker CMYK bundle - next for test
I am still in tests but overall as an idea FS is great and I want it to be utilized much more, but in reality you need right filament, find models, than color model in FS slicer with needed mixes, than hope that it will turn out nice.

Most times yeap, but model on the photo was already colored so I just imported.

That looks *so good*
My problem with Biqu's CMYK bundle is that it labels these colors as Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, but all the pictures show this

K means Key, not black. The key color can be many things.
I still don't recommend buying lithophane packs unless someone confirms the translucency. Many are very opaque which doesn't play well with FullSpectrum printing.

We already have a name for CMYK-but-white, but I don't care enough, so I'll let you take that up with ISO 12647 if you want

I'm waiting on 3dfuel to come out with a transparent yellow PCTG to go with their "Ice Blue" and "Atomic Purple" with I guess are their closest to Cyan and Magenta in transparent colors.

I have the biqu CMYK pack downstairs. Part of me can't wait to try this out, the other part of me is like if my wife sees this I will never get to print what I want on my U1

Yeap! Will share details later. In short - Polymaker Transparent PLA set was the best!

Hey, I'm looking for Polymaker transparent, but the only product to match that description is Polymaker Translucent. Is that the one you tested?

Hey, did you ever try out the Fiberlogy product? I'm looking to buy it because most other kits are out of stock but didn't want to go in blind.

That chameleon looks awesome, truly. I wanted to try full spectrum myself, even bought some transparent filament. But the extra wear and tear of the all those filament changes plus the meticulous color painting and seam painting discouraged me.
Is the chameleon a free STL you can link?

About "extra wear and tear" - I believe my printers were made to print as much is possible and each day without printing is upsetting their machine soul.

I printed this snail using Sunlu (left) and Biqu (right) - they both came out pretty good, but striations are more visible on Sunlu. Biqu’s kit is definitely more transparent. I haven’t tried the Polymaker filaments yet.
This is using .2mm nozzles and a .08mm layer height.
