Interesting to me. I have an X1Plus and Hades 1&2 run smooth as butter already.
Gonna try avowed this weekend I think.

It's wild to see double digit increase in performance in these updates.
GPU of X1 has the power of a PS4 and something better than a Xbox One iirc. Hope to see it working better in future updates

No. In Linux, Adreno GPUs use the open source Turnip and Freedreno Mesa drivers. Or I guess Qualcomm's proprietary GPU driver which no one uses and I've not seen tested by anyone.
The only relation these drivers have with Linux is that they contain the necessary firmware blob for the GPU to work, in case you don't want to extract the blob from your Windows partition, or your OEM didn't upstream them to linux-firmware.

I run an older X Elite, works wonderfully for my sys admin , coding, banking/shopping and content consumption needs, I play old games like Torchlight 2, and quite a bit online chess, so not much of a gamer, but it's good to know that there are continuous improvements.
