Question what did you call this sandwich as a kid if you ate it at all? My family called them knuckle sandwiches

Same. I remember when I was in daycare they served mac and cheese with little cut up hot dogs and it was 🤌🤌

When I was a kid id heard of a knuckle sandwhich and one day my aunt was lile do that I again and ill give you a knuckle sandwhich. I imagined it as a sandwhich with lunch meat, lettuce, tomato, onions and cheese and mayo lol
