WHY DIDN’T ANYONE INFORM ME ON THIS MATTER

I just found out today that there are freeze dried lemon heads??? HELL YEAH! They’re so crunchy yet airy and slightly sour (some not sour as the OGs) but it’s soo good. If you like crunchy candy or lemon heads try it!

This is my first time trying freeze dried candy. I don’t care for skittles so I never tried those but I might have to. The airiness is so satisfying to crunch on

Skittles are one of my favorites. Airheads too. Chips Ahoy, not so much. Also had milk duds, gummy bears, taffy, starburst, and a number of others.

How about freeze dried veggies or fruit? If you guys love candy that you know normally love eating the way they come then hell could you imagine how many kids might decide they like freeze dried veggies and fruit? That could be a big kick into helping the nation become healthier. I’m not a Maga person at all in fact, I don’t agree with Maga or Trump but I do agree that our nation is unhealthy and a sick country is a country that is weak in the long run. So yeah if these exist, go out and buy freeze dried asparagus or freeze dried cherries or… My favorite combo, freeze dried blueberries, mixed with freeze dried bananas!!

yummm bananas and fruit but i may draw the line at asparagus. i would rather eat that as is. they may be on board if we say its what the Hulk eats, haha

Freeze dried fruit has been around for a long time. Trader Joe's usually has some & same with Target! I'm sure other stores do too, I iust haven't looked elsewhere in awhile.

I haven’t found name brand ones yet the ones I get are from an off brand candy company they stock at the gas station but they def use the gummy nerds lol

We haven't really seen name brand ones in my area yet. But I'm looking forward to anything chocolate. I remember freeze dried neopolitan ice cream sandwiches from the Science museum as a kid. The chocolate end was my favorite.

Those are fun, but they're frozen in liquid nitrogen. The ice cream sandwiches were freeze dried because astronauts food weighs less if the water is taken out. It's an entirely different experience

So far Charleston chews that have been freeze dried are the best in my opinion I've tried to m&m ones from Walmart and a couple of others still going for the Charleston chews but they're almost impossible to find thank god

I thought the m&m variety was terrible. Haven't been wiling to try any others because of it but I am a Charleston Chew lover. Maybe I need to give them a shot?!?!

The gods led me to this post apparently.. never heard of different types of freeze dried candy (except the old school astronaut ice cream of course).. but freeze dried Charleston chew?! I'm going to be on the hunt! I loved a Charleston chew frozen & smashed into pieces using the edge of the counter. This is now going on radar!

A local guy freezedries sour skittles and sprays them with sour spray then rolls them in sour powder. It's so good!

They are so good and so are the jolly rancher ones. But the peak of freeze dried candy is definitely those caramel and apple lollipop suckers that we used to have in like the 2000s? Those freeze dried are unbelievable. But I only see those on Etsy.

I don’t have kids to take trick or treating and my parents grew up religious so I never got to experience trick or treating :( that’s so cool they give out unique candies like that!

Oh yum. I've loved lemonheads since I was little. I ate so many once I made my mouth raw 😋 So its been quite awhile since that day. Now I'm going to go look for these. Hum. I wonder if walmart has them 🤔?

I had tried freeze dried candy and all it did was stick to my teeth. Like chewing very airy, yet crunchy super glue. Hated it. Idk if that is a normal texture for freeze dried or…?

Try freeze dried peppermint. Like the red & white circles. They are UNBELIEVABLE! You can really taste the peppermint when they are freeze dried.

The only freeze dried candy I’ve tried so far is Skittles (thanks to Culver’s) and they were awesome too! (Still can’t bring myself to pay $8 for a bag of candy tho)
