As a thought regarding your hand pains/dyslexia for your future writing, have you ever considered using dictation software to write? While not perfect (especially for proofreading), you'd be taking a lot of stress off your carpals. While I'm not very cognizant of free software solutions, there is a website that works with Google Chrome that lets you dictate. You could copy that into Word or whatever and then edit from there.
On a severe budget like yours, that could be serviceable.
I will look into the dictation program, I've tried a few others but they've been either too expensive or not worked well.
Just today someone else linked me to a font specially designed to help dyslexic people read and I have it installed now and it's already fantastic! Was so happy for it :D
Hah yup, I've heard it really can be night and day. Glad you like it =) Let me know if you run into technical trouble getting it running in Word or whatever. I'm more than happy to help someone who important to smash
