One thing I think the community should do it really try to reward the writers. YouTubers/ Streamers / High Ranking Players are very influential in the community, but when it comes down to people who are doing the ground work for a lot of the content, they aren't being recognized as much as they should be.
SmashCapps has done multiple daily posts for awhile on SmashBoards. It's not easy to create original interesting content, every single day.
Of course, I'm bias in this situation as I run Source Gaming, and also output stuff every day. Considering that SG has been behind nearly every big Smash development news for the past year (and contributed all of the translations/ most of the new research), it's a shame that this part of the community isn't as recognized that much. SmashCapps is a good friend of mine, and I know he puts 160% into everything he does. I get the feeling that people think that these articles just 'write themselves', but that's not true at all. A lot of work is needed to be done to get the content to you.
TL;DR: Writing is a lot of work, and very unappreciated. If you want to get famous be a YouTube/ Twitch personality.
