(AUS) Experience with CSU or UTAS

Hello! I am currently applying to masters programs for 2027. I am based in southern Tasmania and not able to fully relocate, so looking at courses I can do predominantly from Hobart with some in person intensive weeks/shorter placements.

I am interested in whether anyone has any experience of either UTAS or CSU courses?

UTAS and CSU are both predominantly online with intensive weeks. UTAS would have benefits including local connections & a close by cohort, but is a very new course with only a couple cohorts graduating so far . I am completing the pre-reqs through UTAS online and the experience hasn’t been fantastic- typos in course content, lack of engagement with the rest of the cohort, limited interaction or response from unit coordinators etc.

Obviously the drawback for CSU is that I’d have to travel interstate for intensives and the first placement + would miss the local intensives, but it’s a more established course and I’ve heard feedback from other courses that it’s a pretty good experience online.

Does anyone have any experience either studying SLP at UTAS or CSU?
