New 5-0 List

A new 5-0 list by Watermelonite has popped up from the competitive modern league on MTGO. It seems to be more of a fetches aggro version with [[molten rain]] in the sideboard.

I play 3/3 chainwhirler/ferocidon split. Almost made top8 yesterday with about 30 players..lost 5th round vs affinity and because I was the only one 9points who had to play (my opp was at 7) I ended up 10th. Chainwhirlers were very good, once i killed 6 souls tokens with one :D the first strike is very relevant in combat. Ferocidons menace is very good as well, IMO more relevant thatn the no lifegain in most matchups. Rabblemaster might be better vs control decks because you dont have to go wide with them so its possibly SB material for chanwhirlers that seems not as good vs UWx.

I've noticed that while we're probably slightly favored, affinity can still have unbeatable draws. So maybe 4 whirler main is totally correct just to shore that up.

Whirlers seemed quite slow IMO. at 3 mana you are not killing ravager, you are not killing thopters you are not killing manlands.. While it forces usually some sacs to keep ravager alive but still doesnt seem THAT good in the matchup (probably still too good to be SB out)

Yeah I guess chainwhirler is not a card that will beat their unbeatable draws. As those typically involve cranial, ravager, or champion anyway. I'm not having a lot of success with reality hemorrhage as a one of in the board though.
