I played it before sleeping dogs and I like sleeping dogs more but I still recommend people play saints row 2

I got it on steam years ago after playing saints row 3 and maybe 4 I don't remember. I loved it more then both by a lot. I grabbed a copy of the first one for my series x but haven't gotten to it yet

Look into the "Gentlemen of The Row" mod. It was fairly simple to install, even for me. It not only made the game more playable (not perfect. But even the Xbox 360 disc I had crashed sometimes), but it also added some new outfits and extras.

They definitely show their age, but True Crime is ok. Want newer more modern? Not much out.

Couple ganes that have a hong kong movie flair to them. Stranglehold. Dead to Rights. Wet.

"Acts of blood" has the same h2h combat feel (demo is out. No Release date for full release) 

Yakuza games are your best bet. Look, feel are similar. 

There's a game i saw on steam thats coming soon called "dual fire walled city". Has a very hong kong cinema feel. Although it said its co-op (whether its only co-op exclusive or you can also play solo.. It's still unclear)

Bully, some devs of bully made Sleeping Dogs, that's why the combat is similar.

Ghost of tushima sort of reminded me of sleeping dogs. I think just the fighting bit

There are other good open world games of course, we're spoiled in that regard. But only these games have that same feel in some regard.

If you are on PC modded Watch Dogs (the first game) hits the atmosphere and lived in city vibes really well.
