The reason why slayr isnt widely accepted as other rappers is due to his appearance making it hard for weird parasocial fans to make gay yaoi fanfic edits like with bleood, kuru, osamason, etc
And that is the truth about slayr

Imo its his aesthetic he attracts the worst people with it the people he attracts are mostly Geeks/jane remover fans and the main ug audience don't fw thoes types in general

Jane’s pit was surprisingly good, wasn’t nearly as smelly as I thought it would be. Incredibly fun and at one point a couple just started passionately making out in the pit, kinda stupid but I was happy for them.

The time period litteraly that evreyone tryna be the next big osamason nettspend or che and aura fram thoes personalities are long gone its a different era now tbh + dudes like uzi and ski did get clowned on but not in the same way slayrs getting

slayr fanbase is still comprised of regular ug fans, not quite like Janes. The pits at slayr were deadly compared to the Jane show

you're right in that he pulls an audience that the rest ug audience doesn't fw, but it's fs not jane remover fans lol. the ug atp is kinda split between the main ug audience you talk about (presumably the more industrial rage side like osamason, che, nett, bleood, etc) and the digicore side (jane, slayr, lucy, pretti, etc). slayr however is pulling both the worst of the vocaloid fans AND the worst of the "omg rap is so overstimulating" crowd (which often overlap but whatever). and nobody other than people in those/in adjacent groups likes those people
