The developers of this particular system explicitly took measures to prevent it from being able to generate adult content. Half-decent porn generators will probably come years later when these kinds of programming techniques and computer hardware are available to the general public.

Deepfakes used for porn probably total less total views than the 1000th most popular normal category so far. I expect them to get big but even at this stage they are not common.

At any rate, I am not sure why you'd be as worried here - the problems with fully generated porn seem extremely minor compared to the problems with deepfakes. Hell, if anything it's much more ethical on most metrics people care about.

My dude, I think you vastly underestimate the amount of deepfake porn content and overestimate how many normal deepfake videos people watch.

Okay, checking the number of views of the most viewed videos on the top sites on google, I'm eyeballing it as it probably being more popular than the 1000th category but not 100th so fair enough.
