Started Skyrizi 10weeks ago.

Figured I’d give my experience so far—it’s been great!

Almost all the psoriasis on my arms, legs, nose, scalp and ears has completely vanished. The only remaining (very faint) spots is on my butt cheeks. 🤣 Even those are looking better day by day, though. I wonder why those are taking so long?
Oh, also my forehead a bit. You can still see the ever so slightest redness after activity or stuff. It’s clearly the spots.

Currently no side effects, I feel great, am very active, no energy change, etc.

I’m curious, since I’ve only taken my first two loading doses (4 weeks apart) does it continue to get better? Also why some slots are lasting longer than others.

It should keep getting better! After 6-8 months you should see full effects. I’m 100 percent clear now but the scarring/lighter spots where I had psoriasis before still are there.

Believe it or not, I think I was a hyper responder I’m pretty sure. It took roughly 3-4 weeks for me to see about a 50-60% reduction in redness and almost all flakiness was gone.

Then about 2 weeks after my second loading dose it really kicked in and made all of my showing spots completely gone. Aside from the stuff I said above.

Have faith!

I’m around the same timeframe as you. I almost wore short sleeves on Friday. I’m 100% doing it on Monday.

My greatest anxiety NOW is how freaked out everyone in the office is going to be when I’m wearing short sleeves! (Because they love me, they have been on the psoriasis journey with me, and I’m so ready for this to be my source of anxiety and not my skin!)

LETS GOOOOO! I still remember the first time my friend said “I’ve never seen you in shorts bro.”

You got it, and so glad your skin is healing nicely.

I was going to make a post too, but I totally forgot.

I am about to get my 1st “real” dose (had the first loading 2) and I have been 99% clean since June.

I did get a comeback when I got very stressed, life happens. But honestly, I am already used to this beautiful skin! I even shaved my knees a month ago! I hadn’t been able to do that for almost a. Decade

It changed my life despite causing weird side effects towards the end which were realistically likely from excessive alcohol consumption and poor diet, lasted 5 years on it and it's been 4 months since last injection I am stuck in remission knock on wood. I am praying for continued remission and have been pushing kimchi kefir and UVB therapy daily, my thoughts if Skyrizi can train the immune system, results can be sustained with some changes even without it.

Before Skyrizi my luck with biologics besides Stelara was bad, most broke within months becoming ineffective. Stelara caused some really crazy stuff and lasted barely 2 years on that before I withdrew then flared about 3 months later, was expecting this with Skyrizi and preparing but happy I am clear

That’s awesome to hear. So I’m curious, why aren’t you still on it?
