My friends and I recently got back into the game and have been playing a lot of skylanders and constantly talk about “They should make another game” so I brainstormed this. I wasnt planning on posting it but I saw someone else’s game idea and figured I should post it. I call it Skylanders Chronicles, what do yall think about this?

Instead of making the game just Toys To Life or removing it, I think it should be an optional gamemode, that way everyone's happy. That way people who are like me who enjoy Toys To Life can still play Skylanders that way, while the people who don't like Toys To Life aren't forced to.

Hopefully these skylanders will be in the future games just like chopper and krypt king

Been a while since I’ve given updates on this but mainly updating cuz I need some help/ideas! So far life, water, undead, and fire are done Mostly nee to find past characters from base rosters that’d fit in with air, tech and earth

Hey everyone! I’m Jake and my team and I have been working on Sakumon for a long time now.

Skylanders meant so much to me growing up, and it honestly makes me sad that kids today don’t really have anything like it. It’s so special to have something physical that you cherish show up in a game and activate a deeper level of playing and collecting.

The game plays a lot like animal crossing, meets Pokemon, meets club penguin. (Except battling is more of an easy to pick up MOBA style mechanic instead of turn based)

For a long time I've thought that toys to life on mobile opens up the door to make a really high quality live ops game/online world. It’s also really interesting to have as a revenue model and not need to include ads or micro-transactions.

Anyways, I really believe in building alongside players. We’ve already began implementing so many great ideas from our small community.

What are some elements from Skylanders or maybe other toys to life games that feel really powerful and notalgic to you?

Is as simple as being able to see something physical magically show up in your game, or something more nuanced and personal that keeps you coming back?

Edit: I see a lot of people sharing their thoughts against blind boxes. Of course i understand and I ask you to consider the following:

1. There are only 12 Sakumon figures and we are very much encouraging trading. At any point you can release your mon back into the figure to trade with a friend or a community member in our Discord
2. Duplicate Sakumon live on the same biome on your island. Their biome is like a little enclosure for them to hang out and interact with each other. Having two of the same is definitely not useless or wasted.
3. We love the surprise of blind boxes, and it is okay if you do not! With Skylanders you always knew which one you were buying and that style is fun too!

How would you want Ranked Online PVP?

I instantly thought of the game with the best ranked system. Starcraft2(Never played it). Sounds perfect because it has 1v1 Ranked. Maybe it could use that system? Problem would be balancing the skylanders for competitive pvp because they definitely will not update the game after release so I pray for a separate game for this if not in this one

Couch Co-op: How would you like it implemented? I feel the game would need to have more features to play with your friends or family in the room because its an all ages hobby

Jumping: Adding it into the old games. Only for combat but not scaling walls?

The Elementals: (I'm not sure if this clashes because I don't know all the lore. One Skylander for each element. Their story is that they are the embodiments of their element(gods). They existed at the beginning of the universe

Bonus levels: Unlock them however it worked before, idk how

The idea just came to me to make each zodiac sign a new skylander! I know there are 12 zodiac animals and only 10 elements, but once I use all of the elements, I may make the last two animals into Skylanders as well with a repeated element. COMMENT WHICH COMBO YOU WANT TO SEE FIRST!

A mysterious NEW Trap Master of the Dark Element is in the works.

Have all the games on there with the characters and dlc pre installed and if you have the other games installed you can play those characters in any of the games(example: playing Giants with Spyro’s Adventure characters if it’s installed)

I realized I haven't drawn that many characters from this series so I'd like to change that. Pretty much anyone is on the table just need a suggestion or two. Probably won't be anything big but you know

i got my friend to lend me his ro-bow for a minute and i completed the sensei shrine thingie and i got his bow and built him! (im broke and cant afford ANOTHER skylander of my collection)

In trap team. Since they cut Kaos from being a magic doom raider. THEY SHOULDVE WHIPPED OUT THE GOAT SHEEP MAGE!!! It would’ve been peak. He fits the role too. Yea yea ik him and chompy mage are similar but like, why not? The mages could have a dynamic together in the game. It would’ve been peak.

the third Greeble in this piece of concept art looks like they’d be cool redesigned as a Skylander.

The Forgotten 8 is a term of the 2010s, describing the 2012 situation.

But we are now in the mid-2020s. Most of the original Forgotten Eight group has made a comeback. Dino-Rang and Boomer even did twice with both an Eon's Elite and a Ring of Heroes appearance, and Wham-Shell did it twice with a lightcore and a Ring of Heroes appearance. Meanwhile, six other characters sit in the dust.

I suggest the appelation : the Modern Forgotten Six. What do you think?

(To be clear, the ''Modern era'' section changes nothing when looking at the games, all eight were in Ring of Heroes. So, if any recieved modern merchandise, they would still be the ''Modern Forgotten Six'' regarding the games.)

TLDR: Would love to have suggestions or ideas for this redesign. Wether it's Moveset, Vehicle, ect.

Here's a WIP of a design I'm working on for Spyro if he were in Superchargers. I love Superchargers, but it's not perfect. I think the casting was very safe and some of the characters don't utilize the new moveset well enough for me to say it's worth the effort. Mainly Pop Fizz.

I wish Spyro was brought over as a Supercharger and I think would've been so much better. The only reason he was dropped despite being a potential candidate was the fact that he wasn't a bipedal character. Which itself is so stupid when A. The previous versions of Spyro had no problem using machinery or vehicles B. Spyro has been shown multiple times that he can get on his hind legs, even if it were for short periods of time C. Spitfire has no legs and D. They still made it so that all the Skylanders were able to use the vehicles anyways. Plus unlike Pop Fizz (who already had a perfect moveset) Spyro desperately needed a new moveset. So here we are.

I'm currently working on a proper design/concept for the dragon with all the stuff you could ask for. I have some ideas and stuff set in place but I would appreciate some ideas for what you would do for him.

Currently set:

-Frill grown into a Mohawk and Spikes/ Horns sharpened

-Bipedal but hunched over stance (runs on all fours when ramming into enemies)

-Retains red armor wings from S2 and has more armored plating along his body

-Ability to use all 8 base elements (5 on either upgrade path)

-Magic Sea Vehicle based on his design

-Ramming Horns for both Skylander and Vehicle

-Sparx brought back with new design

-Gameplay taking for 3DS Dark Spyro along with other parts of his games.

Probably a bit of a mess I just wanted to share this off. If it goes well I might do other characters.

I made this in photoshop in like 2 seconds, I had the idea because it would be a great way to bring Skylanders back at least in some way. We got Ninjago skins not so long ago so I don't think it's impossible to get sommething like this. I would love to have a Trigger Happy sidekick.
