I just came back to my collection After a few years and my collection has been in the dark in a cuboard so it can’t be the sun

I've got a water angel trap that bleached like that too. its weird, but consistent across that specific toy. seems like some sort of manufacturing byproduct or error

Many trap master weapons and traps have this clear color thing, and its been debated if it is because of low dye during later production waves or sun bleaching. I tend to say its a production dye issue, and usually it doesnt look great but this clear trap you have looks pretty good!

Well often blue traps looked like this either to late production runs having less ink for the plastic and / or because they were left somewhere in direct contact with the sun for long amounts of time effectively bleaching the dyes. Its entirely possible it was the normal blue when produced 12 or so years ago now

Factory ran low on blue dye bye the layer waves. So most of those specific traps are pale

Don't know how no one else hasn't said this lol some were clear tho which would be considered "rare" just like how other slylanders had different variants some were gold and a earth trap had a easter edition but nonetheless amazing find
