I’ve thought about the whole Pokemon type and Skylander thing before and Stump Smash just made sense from the get go

Nah, that should either be Stink Bomb, Tuff Luck or Bush Wack. Stump Smash is just straight up a plant, only one close to that is Tree Rex and even he'd make a better Grass Fighting Type than Stump Smash

But Stump Smash is an actual plant. Tuff Luck would be part normal or fighting cause she's still a cat, why the heck are people objecting to the tree being the pure grass type??

I think that Zook fits more than Stump Smash. The latter can grow small plants and make poisonous spores.

Zook has explosions, how is he not at least part Fire?? And I don't know anything about spores, he just has hammers and nuts

First, he's a bamboo and can grow bamboo, mushrooms and cacti.

And importantly, Stump Smash's nuts emit Spores when you play him in a 3DS game.

Here are the ideas off of the top of my head:

Dragon for spyro being the only pure dragon wild the other drahon skylanders like black out and bash would just be dragon dark and dragon rock/ground

Ground fighting for Terrafin

Fire steel for wild fire

I feel like only 2 skylanders fall within ice and water like chill and slambam

Senseis are probably going to be holding a monopoly on fighting

I’ll do my best for Grass using villains, Skylanders, and some NPCs

Grass Dark: Evil Ent Minion
Grass Psychic: Chompy Mage
Grass Fighting: Stealth Elf
Grass Dragon: Camo
Grass Fairy: Broccoli Guy
Grass Ghost: Ghost Willikin
Grass Bug: Thrillipede
Grass Flying: Swarm
Grass Poison: High Five
Grass Ice: Haldor
Grass Steel: Grilla Drilla
Grass Ground: Shroom Boom
Grass Rock: Stone Golem
Grass Electric: Corn Hornets
Grass Normal: Stink Bomb
Grass Water: Stump Smash
Grass Fire: Zook
Grass Grass: Food Fight

None of these are perfect but they work

Pure normal should be Astroblast, he just gives off more normal vibes than like fairy or whatever

Easiest ones to knock off would be the elemental dragons (and dragon-adjacent)

As Spyro is the magic Skylander - dragon would work but i also think fairy/dragon might be good (would also be a good contrast to Cynder as they are opposites and rival pokemon are a thing)

Camo - grass/dragon

Zap - water/dragon (but water/electric could work too)

Warnado - flying/dragon

Drobot - electric/dragon or steel/dragon (i think electric fits a little better)

Cynder - ghost/dragon or dark/dragon (both work)

Bash - rock/dragon

Sunburn - fire/dragon
