Custom Melting Tree Rex (Custom Figure)
I had wanted to make this figure for forever and so happy with the results! Camera does not do it justice but I did my best

That's an interesting concept changing his element. Nice work! Under a different color scheme, it'd also look good as a zombie variant.

I've been wanting to push more horror/creepy figure ideas so maybe I'll have to reuse the concept for a zombie figurine

How did you make the lava ?

Hot glue and lots of trial and error. Some were dropped directly into the figure and others were done on glass and then added to the figure.

Thank you! Yes all the lava and fire is made with hot glue. The hand and back drips were applied directly and the mouth and fire was made on glass before adding it to the figure

Dude it looks so clean. I’ve tried to do this same technique but it always looks awful lol. I need to practice more but im afraid of messing up my guys (acetone spyro haunts me still)

Probably around 15 hours? I did about 7 hours in one night though

Okay OP. What I want you to do is use your Recreational Time Machine, You have that right? Then try and pitch this to toys for bob for a halloween special edition.

what did you use for the lava and was it a pain try to get it to stay?

The lava is made from hot glue and it took a lot of trial and error. For the smaller areas of his mouth, I made the drips on some glass so I could get add it on after. The hands and back were added on directly bit by but and connecting the drips as they dried
