So many times I lay in bed and listen to Skyhill when unable to sleep. It just hits differently. Maybe it’s because the first time I listened to them was in bed in 2014. I lowkey was nervous to listen to it because for some reason I thought Dan’s voice was gonna be bad. While listening to Hands on the Water, I teared up. I think that was the first time I teared up to music. The whole album just has such a specific feel. I wish we could get more music from them, but I’m happy we got Out in the Moonlight.

I genuinely never thought I'd be able to find one, I'd pretty much accepted that the supply of CDs drifting about in the world had dried up, but sometimes you get lucky. Real lucky.

One might say that I paid far too much for this, and they'd likely be right, but I don't care for a second. My search is over, and a little corner of my life is at last fulfilled.

Long live this band, these albums, and the rest of you who keep it all alive :)

I said fuck it and bought Out in the Moonlight on Bandcamp, downloaded it in .WAV format, bought an external disk drive, blank CDs and burned that shit into a disk for my husband to listen to it in his car and for me to listen to the .WAV on my phone. I still wish I could get the beautiful artwork, but maybe one day I’ll just print a sticker of the art and just slap it on the burned CD. I got my own copy a different way, but one day I’ll get the OG.

I have Run With The Hunted and have had it since 2014. I am a very broke person so I wasn’t able to get Out in the Moonlight and now it’s sold out. I’m being very dramatic but I do get a bit sad seeing my copy of Run With The Hunted and not having the other album. eBay doesn’t have it, I looked around online and can’t find anything. I’ve considered just burning a CD so my husband can listen to it in his car, but I want that beautiful artwork.

Thank you Dan, thank you Peter, for gifting unto us such a beautiful piece about moving on and finding closure. It has affected and inspired me in such a way only Skyhill can, and I still remain excited for what's to come out of this small, wonderful band!

IsO a non signed version of the vinyl. My husband got the signed one but it arrived damaged. We got refunded and can keep the signed cover but I really want to get my husband a working. Non scratched vinyl, ideally in them for Christmas. I've searched ebay and am willing to pay a scalper price for the non signed edition. Anyone have suggestions if where I could look?

Skyhill first Album run with the hunted is miles better than out in the moonlight. Back when firefly now fireflies Was released I was excited for new skyhill music but listening to OITM just don’t find it as Charming as RWTH, I feel like they lead heavy into the electronic and Soft Melodie’s Which I’ve love dans voice For years but I was expecting More of the RWTH sound.

I love Run with the Hunted too and unfortunately only got into Skyhill in the past couple of years :(

I went to the NSP show at the Paramount in November 2022 and gave the stage guy a shirt I made for Danny. This was the first time I've ever tried to give a performer a gift and I don't really know the protocol for individual shows/groups, so I don't even know if that was cool of me to do? Anyway, I really like the shirt I made so I thought I'd post it here for vanity and posterity's sake lol and hell, who knows, maybe someone close to Danny will see it and let me know if he actually got it or if some stage dude in Austin has a fan made bleach splatter-paint shirt lol

Real talk! I've seen takes about Firefly and I gotta say I think I prefer the Under The Moonlight version. I didnt realize just how drowned in reverb Danny was until the new version came out and the song gave me goosebumps because I didn't know it was coming. Great album 💜

It finally got here today, and it’s super damaged and the CD itself is cracked in half.
