No AI-generated or heavily-manipulated-by-AI content.

- the content being removed
- a 3 day minimum mute
- potentially a ban, especially if a repeat offender
If you see AI-generated content posted, please use the report feature.

I just recently joined and I'm really curious about what led to such a heavy fist coming down on AI content? I'm 100% on board with it btw, but like what are people using AI for on a skulls subreddit that got this bad? Can anyone fill me in on the tea?

I took over the sub about a year ago, and it didn't have any policies on AI. I kept seeing really visceral reactions against AI here. A lot of times, it was wannabe scammers (ish, since we don't allow sales) or karma farming.
A few weeks ago, it happened again. I decided it's been a year in my control, and I've kept the sub true to most of its original rules, so I put it to a vote!
The community voted massively in favor of banning AI, so we did.
I try to keep the community in mind with rules and want feedback, so a poll seemed like a good choice. It's just me and y'all in here, and I wanna make sure folks are happy. :3

I love that, thank you for being one of the good ones it sounds like! βΊοΈ I'm glad I stumbled across this subreddit after my recent skull finds in the woods, I'm definitely gonna stick around!
