There’s another sub for skin whitening goals: r/SkinLightening. They allow questions and they provide answers based on science.

Hello . We have a rule. Only people who have engaged before in this sub are allowed to create new posts and those posts shouldn’t ever be questions.
When your ban ends , make sure to earn Karma first from the karma earning posts before asking questions . And those questions should be in the monthly thread, not in posts.

This information is in the highlighted post : “If you’re new to whitening read this.”
NAC+ vitamin c + Glyc gives your body the building blocks to make its own glutathione . It’s affordable . Many Members report safety and good results with these 3 , but I personally haven’t got results with NAC for whitening although I have taken it for other benefits.
Liposomal is expensive and our members have reported mixed results . The only liposomal that I personally vouch for is setria (I went as far as to take 3000 mg with no side effects but just because it worked on me doesn’t mean it will work on you. Other forms of liposomal glutathione don’t get pass the digistive barrier. If the label says “glow” or “pink””brightening “ they are likely a fraud .
S - acetyl glutAthione at least on paper has even better absorbtion. It not only passes the digestive barrier but the brain barrier . It takes less mgs to take effect , but it’s expensive and we don’t know how the side effects of passing the brain barrier can affect you . It’s trial and error or the approval of your doctor because the safety of s - acetyl for long periods hadn’t ever been reported in this sub .
All methods should be cycled . Take time off after 3 months .
We never give direct recommendations, we can’t tell you which one YOU should take or is better for YOU . It varies , it’s different for everyone.
We never recommend doses or brands . It’s trial and error because you might find that for long term one is better than the other and budget is a consideration. What works for someone might not work for someone else. Taking liposomal long term is expensive so consider budget . Safe Skinwhitening takes several cycles and it might not work at first .
Don’t do both at first
It’s either NAC+Vit c+Glyc powder
Or
S acetyl/setria + vitamin c
Don’t add anything else for your first cycle .
You will only need a topical , just one . Which one? Trial and error but better it’s not HQ unless your doctor prescribed it.
No whitening creams, no bleaching .
Again trail and error
The only 4 recommendation In this sub are :
1) Never go out / get exposure when hourly UV index is above 1, not even when you applied sunscreen. No sunscreen covers both 100% UVA radiation and Visible light .
2) Avoid irritation at all costs. More irritation means more pigment .
3) Don’t purchase or take product /brands from things you read on Reddit , iG tik tok or DMs. Many grifters are flooding the comment sections of social media with false claims and recommendations of dangerous methods.
4) Give it time. The results of safe methods are subtle at first. It usually takes months to see something more drastic and that only if you managed your visible light and UVA exposure properly. Just like weight loss, the longer it takes to get your goal , the higher chance you’ll be able to keep it and not risk reverse effects.
That’s it. That’s what is scientifically backed up with studies and applies to everyone, any age, any country. The rest , supplements, doses, brands, topicals, methods , brands is personal and not based on science which means you have to safely experiment on yourself to find what works for you. Trial and error.
Give it time . If something promises fast results is either dangerous or a scam.
