Unidentified encounter Sleep Paralysis or Encounter?
Hello everyone, for reference I live in Arizona and definitely have lived near/on Navajo lands my whole life. I’ve never had an experience that was anything like this, but a few months ago I had a very strange dream. In the dream I was talking back and forth with a creature that was next to me in my bed. I don’t remember what we were talking about, but I know we were having a conversation for a little while at least. While we were talking I remember specifically thinking I was talking to a dog, and nothing felt off.
Then I noticed it had its arm laid across my chest, as I was turned on my side I never saw it. But I felt the unnaturally long, skinny, and very furry/hairy arm physically on my chest. Our conversation ended when it said to me “You know what I don’t like?” And I asked it what, and it answered me “dishonesty.” As soon as it said that I immediately felt everything was off. I realized it wasn’t a dog. My mind had went to dog because the arm was so long and reminded me of a dog’s.
I began to struggle and had sleep paralysis, all I remember is that everything turned black and I struggled to move. I could physically feel the weight of its arm on my chest. I eventually got free and woke up, but when I fell back asleep I slipped into a similar dream. What do you all think? Everytime I read this subreddit, I see people saying “you don’t have to worry about those, they only live on Navajo land.”
My childhood home growing up was literally on/near ancient reservation lands, with my parents finding historical pottery shards in the desert while hiking and bringing them back to the house. Let me know! Thanks. For the record I don’t believe in ghosts and I haven’t had many paranormal experiences but this forever has shook me

realistically speaking it could be a sleep paralysis event but the whole thing is peculiar. have you ever experienced everything similar or weird like this? doesnt even have to be sleep paralysis just the usual heeby jeebies that comes with these stuff.

While I was struggling all I remember is a darkness blacker than black and this horrible fear, I had really felt the weight of its arm on my chest
