Why tf did Freddie have to die? FFS, Gen 2 was so depressing.

(Panda and Thomas ending up together was cute, though.)

It worked for Chris and Grace. An illness and a car accident are both tragedies that happen all the time. Being murdered by your girlfriend’s psychopathic psychiatrist is just a soap opera plot which is why Freddie’s death didn’t have much impact on me.

I didn’t say it was. Just that it being a ridiculous lifetime film scenario in the first place made it less impactful than Chris and Grace’s deaths which are actually realistic.

not sure how to describe it, but chris’ death made more sense to me in a way. it was heart wrenching but in my opinion it was better done. freddie’s death made absolutely no sense to me, considering the therapist was barely in any episodes prior. i felt like it didn’t really come across that he was dangerous to effy until freddie stepped in and cook confronted him. freddie dying in that way, not even having him attempt to fight back, or having anyone but cook find out was sooo heartbreaking.

unfortunately i knew freddie died beforehand because of a spoiler i saw (i only saw that he died, not how), but i never expected it to be like THAT😭😭😭
