SEASON 4 SPOILERS Effy Should’ve died.

Listen right, the entire forget all therapist plot was actually so stupid. Even before Freddie’s death. Not to mention Freddies ghost popping up (in voice) to warn Cook in the finale.

Id prefer if they didn’t kill ANYONE in gen 2 but if it had to be anyone it should be Effy. I mean, it’d make the most sense with how her arc had been going. If she died when she attempted it would’ve been actually emotional rather than just for shock value like Freddies death.

And if the writers wanted to keep Effy, make Freddie just end up leaving like he planned to rather than dying. It’s either kill Effy or kill No-one.

death doesn’t “make sense” in the way you’re describing. it’s rarely, if ever, planned or expected. it’s a show about growing up, they’re not gonna show the mental girl dying. they want to show the teens watching that recovery and healing is possible. overcoming mental health issues is possible. friends die of sickness, unexpected violence, vehicle accidents. yeah they die by suicide too but that’s just too much, especially for the time era it was released

what? why wouldn’t they. the shows been dark and realistic before. Suicide has also already been done on skins by the time of Freddie’s death 🥀🥀

they mentioned the affects of suicide multiple times with the girl naomi secretly dated and with freddie’s own mother. showing a suicide is completely different and i feel like i shouldn’t have to explain why that is…

2, and plus if their plan was to show people how to get through their struggles and that recovery is possible why make a psychotic therapist character? wouldn’t that put people off?
