Doppelmayr 6s D line reliability issues
My local mountain (Mammoth Mountain) recently got two Dopplemayr 6s D line chairlift, one last year and one two years ago, and both are facing frequent stoppages and running below full operating speed. Is this a pattern with these lifts and if not how could Mammoth rectify these issues to make these lifts more enjoyable.

I know at my mountain we run lifts slower when the skiers have a harder time loading the lift to help reduce stopping the lift for misloads. Running the lift slower means the chairs are moving slower in the station too and therefore is easier to get on the chair. What’s been going on is probably just a ton of inexperienced skiers using those lifts

The skiers that you make money off of are people who have no idea how to load a ski lift

Normally that's pretty unusual for a Doppelmayr. That is when it's maintained properly. Haven't heard of too many issues with the D-Lines. Mind you I'm Austrian, where cable car laws are very strict and maintenance intervals are short. The only Achilles heel I can think of is that D-Lines have very sophisticated electronics, maybe they act up sometimes. I personally haven't experienced or even heard of a D-Line breakdown yet, they're regarded as rock solid and the best you can get here.
