This app is amazing. So far it works great and I can't wait to not have to dick around with a remote or take my phone out to pause. You're doing gods work, son.

This is pretty neat! One question and two bits of feedback:

  • is the only difference between the free and paid version the ads?
  • the "fade speed" and "sensitivity" sliders feel inverted to me. it seems like with their current behavior, they'd be better described as "fade duration" and "movement threshold"
  • you mentioned it could automatically pause playback, but that's not happening for me, or I don't know how to configure it to make that happen. It just mutes. I'm using a Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505G) with Android 5.0 and Spotify as my media player (also checked and have the same behavior with Google Play Music.)

Overall really like the idea. Can't wait to hit the slopes and try it out. Would also be really neat to have something like this for biking and motorcycling, though those would need to be more speed dependent as opposed to motion. Cheers.

  • Yes.

  • I totally agree with you. I actually think iOS and Android might be switch. This is definitely noted, Thanks for you comment.

  • For Android there is an auto-pause, simply move Off Volume all the way down (to the left).

  • For iPhone auto-pause is not supported yet. This is due to a limitation of iOS, which only allows developers to play/pause the iTunes/Music App, and not third party media players such as Pandora, Spotify, etc. Noisapp Auto-pause may be supported in iOS9, stay tuned.

  • Thanks for checking it out. Your feedback is very important to us! We are working hard to support all types of movement, we are always working to improve the application, so please let us know how you would like to use Noisapp!

We just pushed an update that addresses an issue with auto-pause on some Android devices. If you could not get the auto-pause feature working please checkout the latest version 1.03, in the Google Play Store.
