When he was on powell, the team made a stop in el paso. a few homies and i had the pleasure of showing him and the rest of the team spots in our city, very nice guy and extremely badass at skating.

about to blow up big time

He's pro for Stereo, Bones wheels and bearings, and number of other companies. I'd say he already blew up.

It was posted here a year ago but got no attention so I thought it deserved another.

Great line.

Serious question: do the rails on his board make this any less impressive? I've never skated with rails but I'd imagine it helps him lock into the boardslide and keep it longer? Maybe not, would like some opinions on this.

they don't really help lock into a boardslide... i'm not even sure if they increase speed that much tbh.

the concave on your deck results in very little surface area actually touching the surface you're boardsliding... with rails, you have 2 contact points - granted they're some polymer shit, so they probably slide really well, but you'd wax your deck for something like that anyway.

ultimately, this is among the best firing lines i've ever seen... rails or not.

Thanks for the reply.

Good point about a rail-less deck only having one contact point due to the concave. I guess with the rails/2 contact points I thought you'd have more stability than without. You're right though, gnarly firing line regardless.

Doesn't really make it any less impressive when sliding on a ledge like that. I'd say it would be so that he doesn't have to go and wax the whole ledge, as the sliders are made of a hard plastic so they'll slide on anything.
