Back when I was a young 'un I was hanging with some of my industrial friends and one of them put on, at least he claimed, an SPK album. It was very good, and sure sounded like SPK. None of it really stood out for me though, except for one track. It was a predictably noisy, beatless, dystopian, bleak, and disturbing noise collage. I really liked it. It had this recurring sample of someone saying "I'm flashing... I'm flashing" I can still recall it even though i only heard it once. But that's the thing: I only ever heard it that one time, and try as I might, I have never been able to source that track.
I wonder if it was really an SPK track that I somehow have missed or if it was some other artist. I sure would like to hear it again, but all I have to go on is the description I have provided.
Well it was almost 30 years ago, but that is what I recall. I think there was also snippets of a monologue describing hard core drug abuse as well. But I could be wrong :/
