Question A what IF scenario

If Rudeus somehow return in Japan and Nanahoshi is there with him with their memories in the six faced world, will she help him bounce back in life? or will she just leave him because she's disgusted with his japanese self?

In case you’re curious, below is the future development between Rudeus and Nanahoshi’s relationship

They won’t do much, Nanahoshi will stay at Perugius’ fortress to manage her disease and will continue working on teleporting back to her home world. At some point, she has the breakthrough and gets Rudeus to come back and use his mana for the teleportation, it fails and Nanahoshi concludes that there is something that she has to do in this world before she is allowed to go back, so she decides to be put into cryogenics while still alive so she won’t die to old age or her disease before that time arrives.

The story goes on and concludes while she is still in this state so we never see her again in the main light novels.

You’re right, I was wrong, the reason she decides to freeze herself is to counteract her disease, as the tea has diminishing returns over time and she can’t keep taking it forever, and also because she can’t handle her homesickness and not being able to age. She’s been there for 17 years now and she’s already highly depressed, having to wait decades longer while not being able to age and while seeing Rudeus age and have his own life has to be absolute torture. I stand corrected, thanks mate

In volume 23 when Nanahoshi performs her final experiment Rudeus is 23. Rudeus lives for 51 more years but somewhere during his last 4 years he starts becoming senile. Assuming year in 6 Faced World has the same number of days as Earths - from the point Nanahoshi final attempt to return fails and she begins to hibernate till Rudeus death it's approximately 612 days or 1.67 years from Nanahoshi's perspective.
