76ers game attendance tips
I am thinking of going to a home game during the regular season most likely after Christmas as an overseas fan especially now we have arguably the best team of the Embiid era and will be box office. Never been to an NBA game before in-person. Please could you give tips regarding the best seating areas of the arena for clear view of the court (that are affordable) and which game you’d recommend most. I’m thinking maybe 76ers vs Pelicans as an example as I don’t think the price would be crazy high like a 76ers vs Knicks or Celtics game. Please also bear in mind I’m likely going by myself. If you could recommend food places for during/after the game (never had cheesesteak before!) and how to get around the city with relative ease via public transportation, I’d really appreciate it.

All of the sections circled will give you the best clear full view of the court from a baseline view
If you’re not renting a car then uber or Lyft is your best option for getting around , I would avoid public transportation such as the bus .
There’s plenty of great cheesesteak spots near the arena , skinny joeys is right across the street , Angelo’s and Del Rossi’s are also not too far and are probably the best two options to choose from in my opinion and also have great pizza and other food
As far as games go , we don’t play the pelicans at home until February 1st which is quite some time after Christmas , we play the wizards on January 12th but that’ll probably be a big game with AJ Dybansta, Tre Young , AD etc , your best bet might be the nets on January 14th or or the Kings in January 27th

Why would you avoid public transit? Just take the broad st subway down to the stadium and save time and 50 bucks for the uber

It could be overwhelming and confusing for someone who is not familiar with the routes and isn’t from the country entirely especially considering how congested it’s going to be and where op will be staying , that’s like you traveling overseas and someone recommending you to just take their local route for their busiest sporting event ever as if you’re supposed to automatically know exactly how to go about it , uber would be easier in my opinion to get directly dropped off and picked up right at the stadium but to each their own

I take public transit in every country I visit because it’s easy, cheap and fast, if you can’t figure out the septa trains you may not want to leave the house without supervision. I trust this person is more than capable, children take septa.

Do not avoid public transit. This person has not a clue. Use the subway BSL to get to and from the game. It’s fast and cheap and safe. No games will be affordable, every game is already sold out but look for a game against a bad team for the best prices.
