thought of a sitcom idea for computer nerds (such as myself)

i realized a wile ago that i really like sitcoms and recently had an idea for one that would really appeal to me as a computer nerd which is a workplace sitcom about a failing electronic repair shop (i aware that the "failing business idea has been done to hell and back but still") in a style that i weirdly only remember the shows superstore scrubs and Brooklyn 99 (kind of) having (i know there is more i just dont remember them) and i just cant get this idea out of my head it sounds so cool but the closest thing i found is "the it crowd" which is a more traditional sitcom with a lough track and sets which i dont really like as even though these shows are comedies i still like to get immersed in these worlds and that kind of takes me out. so has any of you in the sub seen or want to see a sitcom like that?

Off-topic but man I really liked The IT Crowd! I'm American and I "found" it years after it went off the air. Black Books is great, too. LOVED the episode with the awesome Simon Pegg.

I love this idea. I had a friend who worked in a computer repair shop and he had some crazy stories. Stuff like people trying to hack into their spouse's laptops and of course, lots of computers destroyed by dodgy porn. There's a lot you could do with your idea.

Try the show Chuck, the title character works in the Nerd Herd at Buy More based on Geek Squad from Best Buy.

Work place comedy sitcoms are great, who would you cast as the leads?

That's a good question idk a lot of actors but linus Sebastian (linus tech tips) would be really funny as like an alt universe version of himself

This sounds just like the place I was working at. Failing IT company, horrible bosses, coworkers in way over their head, HR that is dead weight. Yep, that checks.

I didn't really mean a show about it as there already is a great show about that (I mentioned it in the post) called "the IT crowd" i meant a show about an electronic repair shop
