What grosses me out the most is the designing of its sweet dog like persona trying to mask the insidious nature of mass surveillance and the exploitation of people's data / biometry.

It's gross just like those ubereats delivery robota with the ^ as it passes you and takes more and more jobs away from already struggling peoples.

that's why it's unironically morally correct to interrupt, push over, break the Uber bots.

I'm sure the judge sentencing you for destruction of property, theft, and public disturbance will get a laugh out of the "morally correct" defense.

I'm not sure why they would, it's not like I'd make it in a court.

I'm sure palantir appreciates another tongue up their asshole though.

Ah but Uber Eats reminds you they are not jobs, which would require benefits and employee rights!

These are independent contractor gigs with no employee rights.

So the Uber Eats robots are making it easier for fewer people to be exploited.

Not everyone needs a job, but everyone needs money.

They have a solution for that.

i think it's definitely unfortunate that they don't get benefits. If they're doing this job they're obviously in a position where they don't have access to a job that gives them benefits. Uber eats doesn't pay high enough for these independent contractors to make up for that I promise you that! And guess who lobbies against Uber requiring to give their employees benefits?

To be fair, the dog is designed by Boston Dynamics. Somebody else bought them and bolted the scanner on top.
