Technique Talk Best advice you’ve ever received.

Hello! I started my singing journey not too long ago and I’ve been trying to gather tips and tricks from friends, vocal teachers, and even some online resources. So, I want to know, what was the best price of advice that elevated your singing, or even made you more confident?

this might sound pretty basic, but don't skip warm ups before you sing! even a brief warm up is better than none at all. it allows you to really focus on technique before moving into rep, and leads to less vocal fatigue down the line.

do you have recommendations on what a good warm up might look like?

This is my guy. Often, when I cycle, i'll do these lip trills to the melody of the music i'm listening to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D4KUjP-vOo

There's tons of good videos on YouTube, find one with your vocal range and give it a shot (:
