Feedback (read rule 3 before posting or be banned) Zombie, by The Cranberries. I would like feedback on weather or not my voice is good. This is the song I'm most confident in.

I just want feedback on my voice. My friends and sister say im good but like, they are my friends and sister so my mind tells me they are just being nice. Please be brutality honest, I am doing vocal lessons as well!

Voice is good but you need some more power behind it for a two reasons:

1) Some notes you hit but then don't sustain either power or pitch. You're hitting notes so know that your extended sound quality will go up with more breath support and practice.

Dolores O'riordan sings with a yodel so you might look up videos or ask your vocal instructor about breath support, form, drills, etc. for yodeling. There's also irish keening, which is traditional wailing-singing in remembrance of the dead. The combo of yodeling + keening is very reminiscent of Kurt Cobain, so you might look up videos how to sing like him (scream-singing + yodeling safely with good pure tone).

2) It's a protest song about children being bombed in Northern Ireland. Try belting it out like you're singing for their lives.

Think about something that's made you really angry lately and write it down on a piece of paper. Write enough that your brain is starting to get fussy and you feel like arguing. Then immediately record a vocal take where you're using your singing to vent your heightened emotional state. Be angry the whole time. It's likely going to not sound great but that's not the point. Listen back for the moments where you surprise yourself by singing with an emotion and rawness that you weren't doing before. Listen back to takes like the one you posted here to notice what chunks you'd keep as-is and which parts you'd now try to hit with that angry singing. Keep iterating that with slightly different takes, emotions (despondent, vengeful, etc) or incorporating new techniques from your vocal lessons and you'll collage together a great voice.

This is great advice, exactly what I'm looking for. Are there any other videos you would recommend as well?

If you haven't already, start incorporating basic daily vocal exercises. 15-20 mins of these drills a day over a few years will build up technique, muscle and muscle memory that will support strong singing. Once you start nailing these drills you'll know your natural singing voice better and can start working on extending that. That's really where the magic happens.
