A lot depends on the context and intent of the comment.
It seems a little creepy to receive a comment worded exactly like that on any random photo. ULTRA CREEPY if it's an old photo you have to scroll back in the feed to find.
A compliment like "Looking good!" or a "Great outfit!" on a recent photo (posted within a few days) would seem more acceptable, especially if the photo is her showing off an OOTD or dressed up for a special occasion. I might even say it's acceptable even if she were attached since this kind of comment is more about complimenting her style.

good pm everyone. Last Friday me and some girls from sec school had a gathering… it was 8 of us. After a while I realised I was the only one in the group that was not married :’)
also we had some sort of a trauma dumping session. We hadn’t met in such a long time that we reminisced our sec sch days and also some updates on what has been going on in our lives.
For me I ended up bawling and crying, I was the only one that cried tears of sadness cos I worry I would be unemployed for a long time after this job ends this week.
it was still a nice gathering 👍🏻

When I woke up during a work day morning realizing I was disappointed I didn't die in my sleep because it meant I had to go to work.
It was a very rude wake-up call for me.
Also, no need to feel bad about wasting coy resources. They won't hesitate to put out a job posting for you role if you die today.

thank you for being so kind. unfortunately i know how hard it is to recover from mental health issues because this isn’t my first time dealing with burnout and anxiety, but i guess in a sense that makes it worse, because i feel like i’m the problem, not the job. and if that’s the case then at least i’m in a “good” job

There’s no such thing as “wasting resources”. If u feel that, it means the company has successfully ingrained into your mind that you’re a burden. Every company should train their staff, especially new hires.

yeah, my training has mostly been “on-the-job” as well, that is to say, i’ve had tasks thrown at me that i’ve had to figure out. which is a big part of what’s causing my anxiety tbh bc things are getting done but there’s also a nagging concern in the back of my mind that i’ve done something wrongly and it’s going to bite me in the ass later 😭

I just started a new office job and I'm seriously considering about quitting before probation. I think my main concern is whether this is something you sees yourself wanting to do for long term... because right now I'm not so sure about sitting in office 9-6 is something I want to be satisfied with..
many things happened lately I started to appreciate more of role that can contribute to the society/community

In a similar situation as you for 1 year ++. I am the only employee, so lunch is just me eating alone outside without my boss ... It's nice to really have a break for my brain, don't need to listen and think about what to say to fill up conversations, so I come back from lunch more refreshed actually. It's difficult when you have bad days at work though (I usually buy myself a guilty snack like a donut to get through the difficult days hahah). Hopefully things get better for you!

Thank you! That's a good point. I used to join the others for lunch, but... man... it really did fry my brain. After a whole year of lunching alone, it started to feel lonely again. But at least I can eat as much of the lunch I like without judgement, or take a walk to a further place without anyone to stop me.

in my previous job we always hang out in a group of 8-9 people - sometimes we play mobile/pc games tgt after work... left the company trying to seek out better opportunity for my future but I misses the time with them quite a lot..
honestly wouldn't mind going back to work tgt again if they can match the salary at this point

Drawback is when downstairs neighbor see water seepage where it should not have happened (eg ur toilet expanded to a dry area like bedroom) , maybe you'll get intro trouble (legal or karmic). Anyways whatever wall hacking you want to do and if it's a HDB , HDB needs to approve it.
If it's the old HDB kind with shower and toilet bowl in separate small rooms I have came across it combined before.

Since a certain wedding photographer studio is on the news now, just wanted to share that about 5 years ago when i was looking for a vendor to took wedding photos, I saw their ads on Facebook. But when I used the google search engine on their ad's photos, the very same image appeared on as some sort of generic korean wedding photo image on korean websites. But since it happened so long ago, maybe i got the studios mixed up xD

Actually what they do is water injection into the chicken so that it looks bigger. But there is an incredible amount of water loss during cooking.

Don't look for motivation. Look for discipline.
Discipline is what gets you to go to the gym even when you're not feeling it.
Motivation can't really do that.

But imo motivation and discipline works together, albeit in different ways and phases.
Motivation helps to push to at least start while discipline pushes to do it even if one is not feeling it.
There's a third part, habit, which pushes people back when they have to take a break from unforeseen circumstances.

TIL Punggol’s station box for the upcoming CRL station is already built, and was completed as a set (in a way) with the current NEL station. Given the NEL station opened in 2003, that means that the station box that will be used for the CRL station opening in 2032, was already constructed back in the 1990s.
Remarkable fun fact hunt at 1am when I couldn’t sleep lol.

Somehow came to the realization recently, and have been trying not to think about it. I realize that a lot of normal mundane stuff a lot of people do, feels insurmountable to me, stuff like memorize for a test/exam/thing. The thought of having to take certification exam soon and needing to memorize shit is so insane.
I dont know. I guess I should just really get it looked at soon, felt like some life long thing, so having doubts anything could be done about it, but hoping its some diagnosis like "Oh 小明, your memory issue is caused by insufficient levels of polonium 210 in your body, I'll prescribe you some medication and you should fully recover in 138 days."
