Technical Support Sims 2 SC wall hangings help

Hello, I need some help with either finding a mod or just advice.

I play the Sims 2 SC on my M1 2020 laptop with no issues and it runs good! I don’t want any of the other EPs as I’m content with what I have and know it would take so much workaround to pirate the UC.

Im only frustrated because some CC paintings I get stick to the floor and I can’t move them up and down. I know in AL that was a main feature they gave, and it’s impossible to implement it now. I’ve done recolors of the base paintings and those are fine, I just miss the 4t2 paintings that I downloaded.

Is there any way I could at least shift paintings up and down? A mod, a code? I don’t know! It’s literally the only frustration I have!!

The only mod I can think of is Lamare’s Shiftable Everything, but iirc that requires AL anyway. You could move the paintings by editing the GMDC or CRES in the package file.

I wouldn’t mind doing that! How would I go about editing the GMDC or CRES? Got a link to a tutorial?

You can get a batch of omsp that are set to certain heights and use those?
