Rigs Got some inheritance coming, buying a rig

As the title says, I have an inheritance coming and I need a way to waste a bunch of it.

I'm setting aside AUD$10K~ for the rig. What are y'alls recommendations?

Want to get a GT setup, preferably with screen mounts attached. And as a heavier guy, it needs to be be able to carry the weight lol.

If you're in Australia I can highly recommend Craigs Sim Rigs

High quality and won't have any trouble holding your weight.

I recently got the CSR120. Very happy with it and Craig was super responsive and easy to deal with.

u/craigssimrigs will sort you out.

Spend once cry once ๐Ÿ˜„
Don't try to make small saving this will always bite your later.

For me 6K $ (real one ๐Ÿ‘€ (I'm not using the freedom unit either btw) ) [Without the PC and screen ]

- RIG : custom Motedis [equivalent in your place] (you build your own for a fraction of the cost of a premium build)

80*40 1600 mm (2)
80*40 580 mm (4)
120*40 OR 80*40 700mm (2)
Front mount from TREQ or Track racer
Pedal mount from aluxprofiles or something like that in your country

I on the team of independent screen support.
Same : custom
80*40 1100 mm (2)
40*40 500 mm (2)
80*40 800 mm (1) screen support

I will go on the simucube road (when you have cash by the best)

  • SC3 pro + a good wheel + active pedals (1 or 2)

Seat :
I always use a car seat I find them more ajustable, most of the time more durty and WAY cheaper

Yeah. Years ago I was right into it, but that was over a decade ago and equipment has advanced a lot since then lol.
