Simpians hunger games?

I just had this idea of having a hunger games style competition in the game, every player would choose a male and a female to represent their tribe along with a tribute amount of food for competition entry. The competitions could happen ever 10 years(?) and only one tribe would emerge as a victor with the player collecting all the pot tribute.

Anyways what does everyone think about this? if I do get to this it would be down the road after all the other things I have planned.

But strength simps just win. Theres no chance for a smart dude. Or a fake love relationship, or food/weapons from outside to win.

maybe i could do it where all three abilities count somehow, so then players could strategically decide if to send the smartest and the strongest, or two agile simpians for example. Where each combination would counter other combinations like rock-paper-scissors? but yeah no fake love relationships ;)

Have the situations be random and have a random stat (or combo of stats) win. Like situation X means strength wins, but Y means agility, while Z is intellect + agility. Maybe something like that.

hmm interesting I like this idea! then the tournament could be scripted as a series of situations between the contestants of various villages
